The Gendered Sofa

The gendered sofa is a two part male and female sofa that encourages people to sit at the extremities of their comfort zone. The male sofa forces men to sit in an
exaggerated version of ‘Man spreading’ that is so often associated with men and the female sofa forces women to sit an uncomfortable
way with their legs squeezed together. However, when put together they create a neutral product that allows
the user to sit in a way in which they find comfortable for themselves.
